"The Christmas Trip 2008"
It was gorgeous day on 24th of December 2008.It was nice and calm while we were sailing across the ocean on the way out to the Similan Islands. The trip leader this time was Marcel. Seb and Ricky were also on-board and our brand new Divemaster Trainee Gudrun joined the trip as a snorkeling guide.
The first location to south of the Similans this trip was Honeymoon Bay for check dive and then moved over to Anita's Reef or Eel Garden before d
inner.Shark Fin Reef was fan
tastic visibility. West Of Eden was lovely with lots of Giant Table Corals and schools of Fusiliers before we moved to the other side of island 7 to East Of Eden... white sandy at the bottom with lots of beautiful pinnacles covered with colorful soft corals and sea fans. Night dive was at Honeymoon Bay with lots of Lionfish (my favorite), and a Giant Moray Eel. The first morning started at Hin Pusar or Elephant Head Rock for the most popular swim through and massive boulders. Next stop on this trip was Beacon Reef with lots of Clownfish and then we headed to Koh Bon for the Manta Rays! Even if unfo
rtunately none of them came out to see us, the dive was still gorgeous, visibility was amazing.
People who've got certifications for their Christmas present this year... well done divers and welcome to the Wicked Diving family. Congratulations! to 2 new Junior Scuba Divers Louise and Emile. WOW!! 6 new Open Water Divers Tess, Lynn, Benoit, Anne, Maya and Marco and the next level Advanced Open Water Diver Nina. Special thanks to Marcel, Seb and Ricky.

Merry christmas to all of you guys we wish you all the best. We look forward for your visitting in the next holiday. Enjoy traveling and have a safe journey home.
Safe Diving,
